Refreshments and networking with attendees and speakers

Will Gardiner, Chief Marketing Officer, Calligo & Julian Box, Founder & CEO, Calligo

A rare chance to hear directly from a pioneer in the social science of 'fake news' and the author of Lie Machines: How to Save Democracy from Troll Armies, Deceitful Robots, Junk News Operations, and Political Operatives, an analysis of behind-the-scenes stories from the world’s biggest and most damagingly successful misinformation initiatives—including those used in Brexit and U.S. elections.

Followed by fireside chat and audience Q&A

In March 2020, when the global COVID-19 pandemic struck, the Government of Jersey's reponse would require new processes, performed at speed and using sensitive data in ways never previously considered nor provisioned for. And all against a backdrop of growing sensitivities around the use of personal data.

John Quinn, Chief Operating Officer at Government of Jersey, will describe how his team worked with Calligo to meet the ultimate test of data governance and data privacy, executed accurately and rapidly, and with the highest stakes.

Refreshments and networking with attendees and speakers

The release of Calligo's global Data Maturity Impact Report, benchmarking how much progress has been made by organizations around the world in their use of data. The report will also reveal the obstacles that most typically block progress, and the commercial benefits seen by the frontrunners.

Tessa Jones, Director of Data Science at Calligo, will be presenting two case studies on how her team has solved complex business problems for organizations such as Microsoft and T-Mobile using machine learning and data analytics - and their quantifiable commercial impacts.

A demonstration of the importance of advanced visual analysis to creating a culture of creative, data-driven decision-making, and the tools that are required to do it.

A panel-based audience Q&A with all of the event's speakers, chaired by Tony Moretta, CEO of Digital Jersey
