As Chief Information Security Officer, Mark is responsible for defining and leading Calligo’s information security, cyber risk, and compliance strategy, ensuring the business and its customers are protected against an evolving threat landscape while meeting regulatory and assurance requirements, including ISO and SOC standards.
Mark joined Calligo in August 2013 and is the company’s Chief Information Security Officer. In addition to overseeing security operations and compliance, he plays a key role in shaping Calligo’s wider technology and risk strategy, working closely with executive leadership, customers, and partners to embed security, resilience, and trust into the services Calligo delivers.
With over 25 years’ experience in information technology, Mark has held senior roles across security, operations, and programme delivery. He has led large-scale security and technology transformation initiatives, including infrastructure modernisation, platform consolidation, and the design and implementation of enterprise-grade information security and cyber resilience programmes.
Mark works closely with executive teams and boards to help organisations understand and manage cyber risk in a practical, proportionate way. Through advisory and virtual CISO engagements, he supports customers in aligning security strategy with business objectives, strengthening governance, and making informed decisions that improve resilience without unnecessary complexity or cost.
